Algoba Systems was founded in 1997, in order to implement an image library-type application for the Prisma Presse company. The agency world was then asking for new tools to be able to share and therefore promote all of their image assets. From its release, the software was named Orphea Studio and enjoyed immediate success in numerous agencies in France and overseas. Over the years, a historical collaboration of close ties with the majority of these agencies has been built up and continues to be fruitful this day.
From the year 2000, with the digital revolution, all large companies from all sectors saw an increase in their image, video, sound and document digital assets. To meet these new communication challenges, Algoba Systems has naturally expanded its offering in order to become a preferred partner of the Communication and Marketing departments of these large corporations.
Today, with over one hundred Customers, nearly 100 million media files managed under Orphea Studio, more than a third of its activities turning toward international markets, Algoba Systems has become a leading player in DAM solutions.
With a high density data center in the Paris region, with 120 TB of storage capacity, Algoba Systems is also able to offer tailor-made solutions, perfectly modular in terms of machine resources or network traffic, to support the growth of its Customers, for databases ranging from 1000 images up to several million media files, for example!
Trained engineers, the founders of the company have spent 15 years developing Orphea Studio with the aim of continued innovation, as much of the functional aspect of the software, as of the architecture options, with the aim of being able to adapt to the different technological environments of Clients. However, in a fairly unique way in this world of DAM solutions, Algoba Systems also provides specialized know-how in terms of document management, and supports many of its customers on a daily basis in the organization and development of their digital assets.
Algoba Systems has offices in Paris and London for the operational functions, a representative office in Milan and finally an R&D center in Grenoble.
